This mating is one that is extremely exciting!  You might remember that last July we sold Miss KI Roxy 200 (pictured Lot 1-2) in The Brahmans at the Camellia Sale where she was purchased by RedSmith Genetics for $16,500.  Roxy originated from the same embryos used to create this mating and was RED, PHENOTYPICALLY SUPERIOR, PERFORMANCE PROGRESSIVE, GENETICALLY EXCELLENT, & POLLED!!!  We think the resulting calf from this mating will combine it ALL and meet the demands of every segment of the industry. 

The sire to the resulting calf is the National & International Champion and Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Karu Manso 800.  As most know Karu is one of the most influential sires in the breed with close to 1,500 registrations in the USA and his semen is not on the open market making this mating an exclusive opportunity.

The donor dam to the resulting polled heifer calf is Miss HMC 103/1 (PP) who we purchased as the high selling lot in the 2021 National Brahman Sale for $30,000.  This outstanding female has been influential in our program producing a show bull for Azteca Ranch, show heifers for Mackie Simpson & 76 Ranch, and the beforementioned Roxy 200 heifer that was sold in The Brahmans at the Camella Sale.  It should also be known that 103/1 is a daughter of the $44,000 high seller in The Brahmans at the Camella Sale in 2023, Miss SRS Polled Katie, and by LMC LN Polled Pappo 136/6 who is one of the most proven sires in the breed.

The resulting calf should be extreme in her performance values charting positive for 14 of the 16 measured traits to include ranking in the top 25% of the breed for Growth and Milk, 15% for REA, and 1% for Marbling EPD’s.  The pregnant recipient is due June 15, 2025.
