The resulting calf from this mating will be a full sister to our best Spring 2024 calf.  Miss SRS Polled Katie (P) is considered to be one of the most proven and popular polled cows in the Brahman breed based on the value of her influential offspring.  In 2019 David Lawrence purchased one of the first offspring out of Katie in the National Brahman Sale and she has since produced offspring that have been sold for 10 times her purchase price.  We purchased one of Katie’s next daughters, Miss HMC Polled 103/1 (PP), for $30,000 in the 2021 National Sale and then following that she had two daughters bring from $21,000-$37,000 and a son fetch $20,000 for ½ interest.  Due to her superior producing ability Katie brought $44,000 in the 2023 Brahmans at the Camella Sale when we purchased her.

The sire to the resulting heifer calf is the Australian sire Jomanda El Toro 802 (PS) who shattered the Brahman Week Sale Record in 2016 bringing $150,000.  This heavily Australian influenced sire has been used on a limited basis in the USA with only 27 registered progeny.  We are the second largest registrar of his offspring and like them a lot due to their moderate frame size, heavy structure, deep rib, muscle, and eye appeal. 

We would expect that the resulting heifer calf will be dark pigmented, functionally built, and polled.

The pregnant recipient is due June 15, 2025.
