We think that this embryo package should be something special based on the phenotypic & genotypic complementarity of the two parents.  It is widely known that one of the “signature crosses” in the breed is the combination of the influence of +Mr. V8 380/6 & +JDH Mr. Elmo Manso.  Likewise, the growthy, long, level, and ultra eye appealing phenotype of Mr. V8 460/8 should compliment the moderate, deep, and beefy build of JDH Lady Philou Manso 910/4. 

The dam to the embryos is JDH Lady Philou Manso 910/4. When we purchased this female from the J.D. Hudgins-Locke Division she stood out due to her moderate frame, volume, muscle, ease of flesh, and structure.  Lady Philou is sired by an Australian Sire Carinya Kirkwood and out of the proven cross of +JDH Mr. Elmo Manso and JDH Lady Jackie Manso.  It should be pointed out that JDH Lady Jackie Manso was one of the most prolific dams for J.D. Hudgins-Locke Division as she produced until she was 16 years of age and has 68 registered progeny.  It should also be recognized that as a result of her superior genetics Lady Philou charts in the top 3% of the breed for Growth and 15% for Milk EPD.  JDH Lady Philou Manso has been mated to many of the breed’s popular sires due to her outcross pedigree and phenotype.

Mr. V8 460/8 was purchased from V8 Ranch at the 2020 International Brahman Show after winning his class.  We were extremely impressed by this bull due to his growth, eye appeal, and muscle.  We also appreciated his pedigree as he was sired by +Mr. V8 380/6 the #1 Register of Renown Sire in the breed.  The dam to 460/8 was Miss V8 498/7 a daughter of +JDH Sir Avery Manso and out of the proven donor that we ultimately purchased, Miss V8 518/6.  Not only does 460/8 have a great phenotype and proven pedigree but he ranks in the top 10% of the breed for the essential traits of Growth & Ribeye Area further adding value to him as a sire.  Soon after purchasing this great bull he had an accident and we lost him.  As a result of this accident there was limited semen collected making this opportunity extremely valuable.

Selling a package of three (3) embryos with a guarantee of one (1) 60 day pregnancy if implanted by a certified embryo technician.  If no pregnancy is achieved from the first three (3) embryos one additional embryo will be given.
