MF Ms. Wild Cherry Wisky 50/3 is one of our favorites in this sale due to her pedigree, performance profile, and phenotype.  Immediately you must be drawn to the complete build of this female that is deep ribbed, heavy structured, thick ended, long, level, feminine and combines this all in a moderate framed package. The sire to MF Ms. Wild Cherry Wisky 50/3 is +Mr. H Red Rhino 765 who has been one of the most influential sires of the past 20 years in the breed.  This sire was first widely recognized during his show career which ended on a high note with an International Champion title.  Due to semen availability and superiority many breeders utilized Red Rhino which resulted in a number of quality offspring.  One of the early offspring that proved to be influential was +CT Lady Rhineaux Ray 8/9 who was a TWO-TIME National & International Champion and ABBA Show Cow of the Year.  Not only was 8/9 a winner but she injected this superiority into her offspring and as a result now resides as the #1 Register of Renown Cow.  Of course, Lady Rhineaux Ray has been one of Red Rhino’s most influential offspring but there have been many more who helped him enter the ABBA Register of Renown including Lady H Venus Rojo 188/8 the 2021 Reserve International Champion Red Female who was sold for $200,000.  It should be noted that Red Rhino semen is not on the open market in the USA.

The dam to Wild Cherry Wisky is VL Elena 8/150 one of our most popular and best-known donors.  We saw 8/150 during her show career and thought she was one of the best Brahman heifers that we had ever seen.  She went on to be a many time show winner with one of her biggest accomplishments being named as the 2020 “All American” Reserve Junior Champion Female.  Not only is 8/150 phenotypically superior but has 18 registered progeny to include two show point earners and 10 progeny selling with a $6,300 average validating her producing ability.   8/150 is by +VL Rojo Wiskey 1/48, who was a former show bull and now proven sire as confirmed by him siring the 2018 National Champion Female and reaching the ABBA Register of Renown, and out of a daughter of the proven Santa Elena Ranch Herd Sire VL Rojo Designer 2/70 and one of their most influential cow lines.

To complete this impressive package, Wild Cherry Wiskey charts moderate for Birth Weight EPD and in the top 1/3 of the breed for Weaning Weight, Yearling Weight, Milk, and Ribeye Area EPD’s.
