We are known as the home to some of the top polled genetics in the breed and Ms. Polled Sandglass 90/3 (P) would rank in the top tier of these cattle both phenotypically and genetically. You have to like the moderate frame that she offers accompanied with her attractive dark pigment, bone, length, and levelness. 90/3 is a daughter of LMC LF Polled Marisa 149/7 who results from crossing the 2015 International Champion & proven sire +Mr. H Elijah Manso 281/2 with the 2016 Reserve International Champion and proven dam +LMC Polled Passion 55/4(P). LMC LF Polled Marisa 149/7 is one of our donors that has been outstanding in producing superior offspring with all of her progeny making our sales (another daughter is lot 4 in this sale).
The sire to 90/3 is LMC Polled Perfecto 87/8 (P) who is our polled herd sire that we purchased from La Muneca Cattle Co. after he completed the ABBA Performance test. This proven sire who has sired show winners and sale features results from a ¾ brother X ¾ sister mating doubling up on LMC WFF Pistolero M130 and paternal half sisters that were foundation cows purchased from the Lazy J Ranch to include +Lazy J Samantha & Lazy J Stella.
Study the performance profile of 90/3 and you will notice that she is extreme in her Milk & Marbling EPD measurements ranking in the top 15% of the breed.
You might notice that 90/3 does not have the expected quality sale photo. This heifer came in later from the ranch in McCaulley than the rest and was developed for a short time in Hallettsville before being taken on the morning of the pictures to Smith Genetics. She did jump out of a hot wire fence after completing the video that you see. You will learn that we are overly transparent and don’t want there to be any unanswered questions especially in an internet sale. We feel that 90/3 will be fine but did become stirred up being in a new place.
